Nickgram’s Privacy Policy explains how nickgram.com handles your data: quick style previews run inside your browser, you need no account, and we keep no profile of you. A name is sent to our nickname service only when you press Generate or contribute it, and copied names stay in your browser’s local storage.

- Reaches our servers: a name when you press Generate, a nickname you choose to contribute, and your votes — exactly when your IP address is involved is explained below.
- Never collected: no sign-up, no email list, no analytics or advertising trackers, and never a password for any game or app.

This Privacy Policy explains how Nickgram (the Nickgram Editorial Team) (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use nickgram.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.
Who we are
Nickgram is a free tool that helps people generate, browse and copy stylish names and name designs, including names in Bengali, Urdu, Hindi and Marathi scripts. Typing a name shows quick style previews that are calculated in your browser without any request; pressing Generate sends the name to our nickname service so it can return the full set of styles. You can reach us any time at [email protected].
Information we collect
- Nicknames you search or submit. When you search a keyword or contribute a nickname, that text is sent to our nickname service so we can return and (if you choose to contribute) store results. Do not include personal or sensitive data in submissions.
- Limited technical data. Like most websites, our servers and security tools may log your IP address, browser type, and timestamps. Inside this website your IP is never written down as itself: the two places our own code touches it — rate-limiting abuse, and stopping the same visitor voting on a nickname twice — both turn it into a one-way hash first, and nothing keeps the original.
- When your IP does leave this website. There are exactly two moments, and we would rather spell out both than leave you to assume there is one. First, when you contribute a nickname, your IP goes to our nickname service along with the text, and that service records it against the submission so the same source cannot flood it. Second, when the generator meets a name it has never seen before and registers it, your IP travels with that registration for the same anti-flood reason — so simply typing a brand-new name, without contributing anything, can also send it. In neither case is the address shown on the site, listed anywhere public, or returned by our API: we re-checked every one of this site’s API endpoints on the date below and none of them hands out an IP address.
- Local storage. We store your theme choice, the names you copy (your “Saved” list) and whether you have rated a page in your browser’s local storage so the Site works smoothly. This stays on your device and is removed when you clear site data.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
At the time of the date above, Nickgram does not load analytics or advertising scripts on its public pages and does not set advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated first. Pages load web fonts from Google Fonts so that Bengali, Urdu, Hindi and other scripts display correctly; your browser fetches those files directly from Google, which receives your IP address with that request. The Site is also delivered through a content-delivery and security network that processes your IP address to protect the Site against abuse.
How we use information
- To provide nickname search, generation, voting and contribution features.
- To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
- To measure and improve performance and content.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that operate the Site (hosting, the nickname service, security and content delivery, and font delivery) strictly to deliver these features, or when required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or object to certain processing. To make a request, or to ask us to remove a nickname you submitted, email [email protected].
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
