Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how NickGram (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use nickgram.com (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

Who we are

NickGram is a free tool that helps people generate, browse, and copy stylish nicknames, fancy fonts, symbols and emojis. You can reach us any time at [email protected].

Information we collect

  • Nicknames you search or submit. When you search a keyword or contribute a nickname, that text is sent to our nickname service so we can return and (if you choose to contribute) store results. Do not include personal or sensitive data in submissions.
  • Limited technical data. Like most websites, our servers and security tools may log your IP address, browser type, and timestamps. We use a hashed form of your IP to rate-limit abuse and to prevent the same visitor from voting on a nickname more than once. We do not use it to identify you personally.
  • Local storage. We may store your theme choice and recently copied items in your browser so the Site works smoothly. This never leaves your device.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, to understand aggregate usage (analytics), and — where applicable — to show advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising via Google Ads Settings, and learn about third-party options at aboutads.info. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How we use information

  • To provide nickname search, generation, voting and contribution features.
  • To keep the Site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
  • To measure and improve performance and content.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that operate the Site (hosting, the nickname API, security, analytics and advertising partners) strictly to deliver these features, or when required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or object to certain processing. To make a request, or to ask us to remove a nickname you submitted, email [email protected].

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
